Check what uses your Mac’s storage

Open System Settings → General → Storage for the macOS overview.

In DiskHelper, choose Scan Full Mac or Scan Folder. Open a folder card or chart item to explore its contents. Back, Forward, and the path bar let you move through the same scan.

Opening Home or returning to an earlier folder reuses the results. Run another scan when you want updated sizes.
