Your files stay on your Mac

File scanning, duplicate matching, snapshots, and cleanup happen locally. DiskHelper does not upload scanned files or their paths.

Activation sends your license key and an app-specific installation identifier to our server. Later checks use your activation identifier and credential. The server checks license status and device limits.

The website stores your chosen color theme in your browser. The hosting and activation services process connection information needed to serve requests and limit abuse.

There is no analytics integration or advertising tracker in this website or app.
